Hi, I´m Mia Goloy, your new Paper Crafts editor. I´m an avid crafter and a self-confessed "paperholic" who loves stocking up on pretty or unusual paper, and who gets excited thinking about the things they can be made into.

As a kid, Art was a favorite subject of mine, and whenever school was out I would "make stuff" - cutting up the daily comics to make greeting cards, designing clothes from magazine pages for my paper dolls, building houses and creating palm trees from pad paper, and leaving trails of origami birds, boxes and hats all over our house.

While I no longer leave origami trails wherever I go, my love for paper crafting remains. Collages, Artist Trading Cards, inchies, handmade books and creative gift wrapping are just some of the stuff I make these days, and I´m looking forward to trying out (and sharing with you!) more wonderful paper crafts.

I live in the historical city of San Juan, in Metro-Manila, the Philippines, and work with the website team of an intergovernmental organization. When I´m not crafting during my free time, I visit my favorite blogs for inspiration, scour bargain bookstores for craft books and mags, play with my cats, or relax with my family.
