Do you enjoy playing a good game of Hangman? Try your hand at this speceial anime version of the game, where the words are anime-related. Words come from such properties as Pokemon, Cowboy Bebop, Robotech and more. Anime films will also provide a source for possible words. Also included in the word list are the names of the people and studios associated with anime.

I intend to add words to the game on a regular basis, in the hope that it will provide more words and more of a challenge over time. Also, please feel free to send suggestions for possible words to be included in the game.

The interface is relatively simple. When you first start the game, you will need to click on a link that says to start a new game. From there, the lines for the word appear, and you use your mouse to choose which letter you want to guess. You click on the button marked, "Make My Guess," and then the page will refresh. Either you will see that you made a correct guess, and the letter will appear in the appropriate spot(s), or you will see a body part appear on the hangman.

I will warn you, sometimes it takes a little time for the page to refresh after you've made a guess. You keep playing this way until you have either correctly guessed the word, or the whole hangman is drawn. After you finish the game, you can tell the page that you would like to guess another word.

I have played the game myself, and it is fun. However, it can be a little frustrating waiting for the screen to refresh. But the game really does have the potential to challenge you. I highly recommend trying to play it at least once. Who knows? You may find that you become addicted to it.
