Preparation / Drebin Points

In most game modes, you start the game in or near a "spawn square" for your team. This point serves as more than just a spawn area; if you stand in the colored square and hit start, you can re-equip yourself. This is good in the sense that, if you run out of ammo, you can go back to the square and reload.

Drebin points are a sub-option available in all modes except for Sneaking Mission. Maps with Drebin Points enabled are denoted with a D symbol. Drebin points reward you for completing objectives and defeating enemies (grenades get you the lowest number of points, regular kills get you a middle number, headshots get you a high number of points). You can use these points to buy weapons and add-ons. Without Drebin points enabled, you have a small but balanced selection of weapons. With Drebin points enabled, you have a huge range of weapons (primary, secondary, and support) as well as add-ons for most of weapons. The most important thing about Drebin points is that you are, in fact, buying weapons and ammo with your points. If you die after buying a weapon, the points for that weapon are gone. Furthermore, if you run out of ammo, there is no way to get new ammo for that weapon without just buying it again.
