Paws and Claws - Pet Vet Walkthrough
Basics

Pet Vet starts out slowly, to let you get the hang of what is going on. Don't be lulled into thinking the game is slow paced :) They are just trying to let you get used to the controls before they innundate you with choices and items.

Your little house is where you begin. Each room has actions that can be done there. Your bedroom is where you end the day. It auto-ends at 20:00. Your storeroom holds food. You have to hand-carry cat, dog and horse food out to their locations, once you build those buildings. The office area lets you build new buildings once you have money, and check your medicine inventory. Your doctor's room automatically get used when you see a patient. Your waiting room is where you greet new visitors. It only "works" when a visitor is in it, sitting down.

To start with, go LEFT to the town and buy about 5 of each item. You'll be able to go back any time you want to buy more, once you earn more money. Then when your first patient comes in, wait for them to sit. Walk up to them and press A to intitiate the dialoge. Wait for the diagnosis, then scroll far right to see what to do. On the screen that then appears, with the pet on the table, click on the left listing for the type of item, and choose the item. Then you have to click the item on the pet - usually on its main body, but sometimes on its head - and then click the lower right to accept. I know, it doesn't make much sense, but that's how it works.

When you build a building, it doesn't appear until the next day. When you start having overnight guests - this will happen automatically once you have built homes for them - you have to feed, care and clean them. Make sure you do all of these once a day until their owner retrieves them!
