Saints Row 2 Walkthrough
Your good friend Johnnny Gat was arrested and convicted. He is going to be sent to death row. You have to go to the courthouse and rescue him.
Unfortunately, enemy red-gang guys are in the bar with you. Attack them and teach them a lesson. Then hop into a car.
A/X to change speed
You have 4 minutes to get to the courthouse. Driving is a KEY still in this game so you better practice and get really good at it. There are going to be all sorts of times that driving skill are required to win a mission. Practice, practice, practice.
Once you get there, the enemy gang is there and lots of media too. Go up to the main steps. You have to go in to find the actual courtroom. Go left up the stairs, then right through the door and right again.
Johnny is flippant about being rescued. Shoot your way out room by room. It's really not that hard, this is a "training mission" to get you started and used to how the game works. Run out the main doors.
Hop in the media van - "Anchor". You learn that Troy is chief of police now. Go to Forgive and Forget - i.e. a car wash "paint and spray" to lose your stars. Then drive over to Aisha's House.
You unlock your own red light apartment crib.
Note that you cannot do subsequent missions until you get respect by doing driving stunts and other side missions. What we chose to do here is to do ALL of the side missions and max our our respect. That way we had tons of driving bonusses, fighting bonusses, tons of cash, tons of unlimited ammo. it made the actual mission tree SO much easier :) Plus by the time we began the missions we knew the entire town, had driving down pat, had shooting down pat. If you have the patience to do it this way, it's well worth it.
