Eagle Landing by Albert Rollins

Poetry

Nature Trail

Brenda Kay Ledford

Sparrows lifting up songs
in the Blue Ridge Mountains,
cobalt skies peeping through
poplars, morning air perfumed
with honeysuckle, ferns
concealing moss-covered logs.
Jack-in-the-pulpitīs message
and a thousand trilliums
splashing the hillside;
a pink tapestry.
