The Voiceless Bodies

Firefly

Sprinkles all the dew
over my silent eyes.
Serpent underbelly
Scintillating plates
a foolish warrior´s
forgotten importance.

Flashing cascades
hues lush,
green, supple
Enough for me
to see the burgundy sky.
I opened wide eyes.
I felt it all along.
Watershed flowing fast,
a spate of aqua.

Ear to earth
turmoil filling
turning it round and round
till it goes down
into the deep mahogany
Fingers deep into the heart
clawing away armor.

Etiolate universal phenomena
nullify gazed upon prisms.
Raven spreads wings
covering once pristine
into inkwells of nothing.
