Animal Crossing Walkthrough
Interacting with the Townsfolk
You start out with a certain number of random townsfolk in your own. Each one has his or her own personality. You need to talk with each person daily - not only to get quests from them to increase your wealth and holdings, but also to keep them happy. If you ignore a townsperson for too long, they're likely to get lonely and move away!
Tip from Reikon: In Animal Crossing, you can get furniture, clothes, or fruit by continuously talking to the same character over and over. Sometimes they'll give you things! Oh, but they'll also get super-angry if you keep bugging them...
