Lotho is in Bywater. Lobelia says there are wolves in the Shire. She wants to talk to shiriff, says to ring the bell. Strangely, the clapper is missing.

Note: they appear to feel PS2 users aren't bright enough for puzzles. If you have a PS2, all you do is throw a rock at the bell

Head to the Green dragon inn. The Shiriff is at the bar - he saw Fatty take the bell clapper. Merry and Pippin are there and will meet you at Maggot's Farm. Sam's dad is on one side. Angelica is outside and friendly.

Go to the Fatty bulger house to one side. Fatty is inside. He says he used the clapper to grind flower. He gives you the clapper. For his pie he needs honeycomb and eggs. Give him both with the directional pad and black button. You can choose the walking stick or ointment. I took the stick.

Now put the clapper in the bell. The Shiriff comes and ignores your warning. Now Lothalia wants the deed. Head home.

The desk has the key, and the chest in the bedroom has the deed. Go back to the center of town and give Lothalia the deed. Tell her you'll give the key to Sam's Dad. She's upset. Sam's dad isn't findable yet. You have to head home and get the key from the chest in the living room. Now head to Sam's house next door.

Rider in black comes. Give key to Sam's dad at his house.

Go over by the well and put on the ring. Head into it. There's 3 chests with Athleas leaves. Lembas is also there. When done, head back up ladder.

Now go down to the gate. The Shiriff is there and say the hinge is broken. A spare is in the mill. Go into the mill, the hinge is right inside the door. Use the hinge on the gate to get through.

Down into town, save someone from a wolf attack. The big rock in town is a ring spot with various little items. Go on down the road. There's a ring spot up a little trail to the right, by a big rock (on its left). Nothing much down in there. Now there are riders on the road. Sneak into the hollow log on the right, then run across the road and sneak forwards. You hit Farmer Maggot's house and he agrees to get you out.
