Lord of the Rings The Two Towers Walkthrough
Helm's Deep - Breached Wall

This is a really, really, really annoying, long level. In essence you are a GUARD DOG. You have to stand by a door and make sure the enemy doesn't hack or blast it in.

OK first. Wave after wave after waves of explosive guys separated by waves of regular fighters. Shoot all the explosive guys as they come. That's actually sort of fun. Then the fighters come and you have to try to hack at them while still shooting the explosive guys before they get close. So far so good.

Now comes a wave of archers, and you're being swarmed by fire arrows. Shoot the archers, hope an explosive guy gets near them so you can just blow them all up. Gather up healing potions to stay alive. The door is actually in good shape - it's you that is being beaten on now.

So far so good. But then along comes a cave troll, and then HORDES of explosive guys AND regular guys. In this mob it's nearly impossible to target the explosive guys, and you're getting hit a lot so even if you do, you can't get the shot off. So you have to try to find those explosive guys so they will take out a range of people around them. Use whatever uber-attacks you've gathered up at this point because you're going to need them!

After the Cave Troll is a Uruk-Hai. Kill him off. You're nearing the end! Now a catapult comes. Run for the catapult. You have to knock off the protective coverings on ALL THREE SIDES of it. Do uber-attacks on each side until the covering comes off. Finally you're done!

I got 17834 - perfect. I'm now at Level 9.
