Flutterflake - Emma Crew
Over the years I have had a few patterns that I have much admired. They are timeless. This snowflake with butterflies is one of these patterns. It was designed by © Emma Crew, 2001 and much enjoyed by the Online Tatting Class.

Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbons
Many tatters have been touched by breast cancer. The color for breast cancer awareness ribbons is pink. Here are a few patterns which we have used over the years. If breast cancer threatens someone close to you, please tat a pattern from the Online Tatting Class files and send it to them today.

EJ Lavalle 1917 book, fig. 23 is a tatted circle inside a square with rounded corners. The negative space between the two elements is filled with 4 sets of 4 rings.

E.J. Lavalle 1917 book, fig. 30
This pattern from the 1917 book by E. J. Lavalle looked like an autumn leaf or so I thought. Then it began to look like a moth, no, a leaf from a tulip tree, no a fan. OK. I don't know what to call it. But give it a try.
