When you are young, everything is new to you. The older you get the more effort you need to make to search out new things. If you are satisfied with only what you have already learned then you will be bored quickly. For to live without learning is to stop growing. Believe it or not, your mind has more memory than your phone and laptop combined. And just like your phone and laptop, the information saved in your mental memory is only as good as the information that is downloaded into it.
Reading, observing, listening, feeling, and yes, even thinking all result in learning. So whether in a group of by yourself, you can still learn something. And of course we will learn more by listening and watching than we will be talking, since you can only speak what you already know.
Take advantage of every learning opportunity you get. It may be a once in a lifetime learning experience and you wouldn’t want to miss that.
