Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage


Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage

  • 1 head red cabbage - medium size, sliced very thin
  • 1 red onion - medium size, sliced thin
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar

Preparation -
Combine all ingredients In a large skillet. Toss together gently. Add enough water to cover the vegetable mixture. Bring to a low boil, then reduce heat and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 6 to 8 minutes or just until cabage is tender.
