Orange & Spice Glazed Steak

This tender, tasty steak is marinated in a citrus and spice mixture.

  • 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 T. barbeque spice blend
  • 1 to 1-1/2 lb. sirloin steak (cut about 1-inch thick)

Preparation -
Whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, ground cloves and barbecue spice to make the marinade. Place the steak in a zip top plasctic storage bag. Pour the marinade into the bag, over the steak. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours, turning frequently to marinate evenly. Drain off the marinade. Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for use. Grill the steak about 4" above medium hot coals, for about 8 to 10 minutes per side or to the desired doneness.
