|Project Information: • Skill level: Basic • CorelR JascR Animation ShopTM 3|
What is an animation? Well it's a series of images shown in a sequence to create the illusion of movement. There are many ways to create an animation and many types of animations. Some animations are very intricate and have 100's of images (or frames) that are made individually by hand. However, you can make a great looking animation with just two images and Jasc's Animation Shop. That's what we will do in this project.
You can download the images that come with the project or you can use any two images of your own. Just be sure that the two images you choose are the same height and width. After you have created the animation, you can place it on your website using the webpage HTML code supplied with this project. Click here to view the finished project.
What you will need:
Download Images: (or use your own)
To download -- right click and save to your computer.
Download Webpage: Code for Webpage
When the second window opens click File > Save As. Name the file seasonsgreetings.html and save to your computer.
Step 1. Download the images and code that we will use for this project. First create a folder on your computer to hold the images, the webpage and the finished animation. Name the folder "Holiday". Now click on the links above to download the two images for the animation. If you are going to place this holiday animation on your website, you will also want to download the background image for the webpage and the webpage itself.
