The recipe is pretty straightforward, just stir together the mix and water, cook on a griddle and serve. You can make waffles too if you'd like. You can also create the pancakes with vegetable oil or butter to moisten up the pancakes. There are plenty of zero-carb syrups on the market to pour over the top, and of course a pat of butter on top is tasty as well!
I love serving berries with my pancakes, for the extra anti-oxidants. They're also great with sugar-free chocolate chips mixed in, if you have a sweet tooth!
While other sugar free pancake mixes have an off metallic taste to them, I didn't notice much at all off tasting about these. They have a buttermilk flavor to them so maybe that helps mask whatever normally is "a bit strange" about the pancake mixes out there. I do know this one in particular was recommended to us at the local low carb store, and we were quite pleased when we gave it a try.
