Unforgettable You; A Book Review

Today, ethnic beauties, I'd like to discuss a book with you. Entitled Unforgettable You, its author is international television personality, Daisy Fuentes. I'm going to tell you right now, I thoroughly enjoyed this book about becoming a 'Classic Girl in a Modern World.' That phrase Daisy uses to indicate that a reader can learn to master the elements of style, spirituality and true beauty.

In this hardcover that reads quickly and is most entertaining, the author who is also a model and a mother, continually asks the question, who are you? Then she basically goes on to stress that if you know who you are, then you can never be forgettable. Why? Because you will always strive to be your very best self -- a more enhanced, happier version of you.

In this book that takes readers on a jaunt to self-discovery, there are photos from back in the day, when Daisy was one of -- if not the first -- Latin veejay on MTV. There are cool pix of her and her posse from New Jersey, with their big hair and even bigger swag. What I thoroughly enjoyed about Unforgettable You is that there are questionnaires throughout; however, the author didn't stop there. She allowed her own answers to be printed for readers to see. To me, this simply shows that Daisy is a woman just like me, who is attempting to be the best that she can be. We get to see that she has made mistakes. She also discusses dating faux pas and how it is easy to lose one’s self at the start of what one believes is a delectable relationship. Then we get to see and agree that it is hard to extract one's self after this.

Fashion designer Daisy has conversations with other people in this must-read. One of these is with her mother; she has another with actress, model, and mother, Jenny McCarthy. Daisy gives us tips -- not just on makeup -- but on body, skin, style, grooming, and more. In Unforgettable You she focuses on the spiritual, on becoming calmer, and more patient. Then she doesn't forget about S-E-X. Quite truthfully? Reading this book is like having a lively, fun, and informative conversation about many things with one of your most treasured girlfriends.

Ethnic beauties, this 335 (approx.) page book is chock full of goodies. Therefore, I suggest you get a copy today for your library. It is not a once-read, but something to refer to again and again. I promise, each time that you do, you will find another reason to smile, and as Daisy says, smiling is part of becoming that Unforgettable You.
