I later realized that the ethnic skin care and personal care products that WERE and ARE currently available on the market, contained many toxic chemicals that were simply unhealthy for darker skin. After realizing that natural skin care options for darker ethnic skin types were currently scarce in the market place, I was inspired to start my small business, Naturally Nubian LLC, to help fill that void.
To be a more reliable and competent source of information for my readers, I´ve completed training in herbal medicine, to understand how and why natural plants have a positive effect on skin and health. My experience spans over 12 years of ethnic skin care research.
As a member of both the Natural Ingredient Resource Center, and Compact for Safe Cosmetics, self directed research and continuing education is something I consistently pursue to provide you, my readers, with the most reliable and helpful information available.
