Competition is heavy in the antiperspirants and deodorant market. And only a few products rise to the top. The deodorants at the top usually have plenty to offer the consumer and keep them loyal to their brand. Well, Proctor & Gamble introduced a new line of antiperspirants to the market: Invisible Solid Secret Scent Expressions. The antiperspirant is available in several very unique scents.
Secret Scent Expressions
I was first introduced to the Invisible Solid Secret Scent Expressions through a store display at a local drug store. The product was on sale, so I decided to purchase it specifically for a review on the Body Care site. The container design is very contemporary, which immediately caught my attention. The antiperspirant is enclosed in a plastic light blue container with a curved shape. It has a blue tinted see through top that pops off. The secret logo decorates the front and is enclosed in a lavender swirled design.
What I look for in an antiperspirant is a product that keeps you cool, stops wetness, stops odors, applies easily, and does not cause any irritation to the skin. The manufacturer claims that the Invisible Solid Secret Scent Expressions stops wetness and has a pleasant scent. Well, lets see if it lives up to the claims and meets my antiperspirants challenge test.
Well, I used the product for several days before writing the review. In my opinion the antiperspirants does stop wetness for a few hours. The bad news is that I had to reapply the antiperspirant again before the day was over. A few products I've tried lasted well through the day. Now, it is true that results might differ between individuals, but I prefer an antiperspirant that last all day long. Lets take a look at the ooh-la-la lavender scent.
Lavender is one of my favorite scents, but this lavender scent left a lot to be desired. The aroma was very sharp and unpleasant. Certainly not my cup of tea. The solid antiperspirant felt very waxy. Be forewarned that the product causes a waxy white residue under the arms. Best to forget going sleeveless while wearing this product. On the positive side it glides on smoothly under the arms and the product did not cause any noticeable irritation in the under arm area. It also stopped wetness for a few hours and underarms remained fresh.
Would I recommend Invisible Solid Secret Scent Expressions? In my opinion it is a good choice for those who do not sweat heavily. Those who sweat heavily should try another Proctor & Gamble product.
