Body Care starts with loving and nurturing our whole self. If we truly care for ourselves, we´ll be mindful of what we put in and on our bodies, the amount of exercise we get (or don’t get), the thoughts we think, etc. Our choices do influence how we look and feel, and can affect future generations and the environment as well. I´m the first to admit, I haven´t always taken the best care of myself in certain areas. But it’s never too late. I´m learning every day and it´s a fun and fascinating journey.

A little about me: Although starting as a Sociology major in college, my practicality took over and I switched to Business Administration and ended up doing accounting for many years until I was laid-off from my job at a mortgage company. When I listened to my heart, I started to question if I wanted to continue on the same path…or not. Not!

With my husband’s blessing, (although not necessarily understanding!), I became a Massage Therapist. In the past 12 years, I have learned a lot about the body, and have researched many areas of health and nutrition to help my clients and myself.

I am especially passionate about the importance of using skin care and personal care products that are organic and free of toxins and chemicals. It made a major difference in how my skin looks and feels. Through my involvement in several companies marketing skin care products, I got a behind the scenes look at the steps that go into formulating a product, as well as insider secrets of the cosmetic industry. Stay tuned as I share these secrets and more.

In addition to providing resources and information on all types of Body Care, my goals for this site are to:

In addition to my southern California based massage therapy practice, I work with EcomBuffet.com, an SEO, internet marketing and web development company. While working with EcomBuffet, I have further developed my writing and editing skills.
