Beginner's Guide to Birds, Eastern Regionis simple, but a good guide for identifying birds. Donít know the birdís name, look in the section devoted to the unknown birdís color. The birds are arranged from the smallest to the largest. For example, if the unknown bird is green, turn to the green bird section. Flip through the pages, the birds are arranged from the smallest to the largest. Find the picture of the bird.

Once the bird is found, the Stokes have information on the birdís description, voice, habitat and nesting. There are tips on attracting the bird to the yard.
