Stan Berenstain the Writer's Books

Stan Berenstain, part of the duo who wrote the Berenstain Bear picture books, has passed. He and his wife, Jan, co-write the beloved Berenstain Bears series. Their books help children cope with the problems in their young lives. Although some of the books are more than forty years old, they still pertain to today’s children.

Today's children still experience bad dreams, moving day, messy rooms and etc. Stan and Jan write picture books which helps children cope with these problems. The Berenstain Bears’ authors, simply calls the Berenstain cubs, Brother and Sister. All children, no matter their race or religion, identify with the Brother and Sister Berenstain.

The popular Berenstain Bears series started with The Great Honey Hunt in 1962. There are now more than 200 hundred books available. Also, there is a PBS television program and a DVD Christmas musical.

Stan and Jan Berenstain have received numerous awards. Most important of all, they have received silent awards from parents and children throughout time.

Take time and read The Berenstain Bears series to the children in your life. There are many titles to help children cope with their daily problems. This is a short list of available titles.
