On Tuesday, December 31 from 4:00pm to 10:30pm join a community celebration offering a non-alcoholic and family-oriented alternative to ringing in the New Year. This free event is a citywide celebration and offers entertainment for everyone including comedy, African dancing, and a variety of musical genres and activities for children. Come join this growing club of young and old alike who take a chilly dip in the Atlantic! The Polar Plunge takes place during the day on New Years Eve at the observation deck.
Ready to hit the town but need and option for the kids? Ripley’s Aquarium in Myrtle Beach is hosting a New Years Eve Glow Party for kids only! Your children age 6-12 can enjoy a supervised sleep over at the aquarium where there will be karaoke, pizza, crafts, movies and a live broadcasting of the ball drop.
