Here are some natural ingredients to consider for your own personal body care collection.

Baking Soda
Natural baking soda makes a very good underarm deodorant and general body deodorant. Sprinkle a bit in your shoes to neutralize foot odors naturally. Whip baking soda into a paste by mixing with water to create a natural toothpaste. Take left over baking soda paste and gently massage over the face for a natural exfoliation. Rinse with water afterwards and apply moisturizer.

Natural Essential Oils
Natural oils heal the body and the mind. Add favorites like vanilla, gardenia, rose, lavender, musk, or jasmine to your collection. Use in spray bottle mixed with water to scent the body. Add a few drops to bath water for a fresh or relaxing experience.

Prepare invigorating herbal soaks for the bath. Place a few tablespoons of your favorite herb in a muslin bag and tie with ribbon. Drop into warm bath water and enjoy.

Sea Salt
Make your own bath salts with ingredients that are already around the house. Blend a few tablespoons sea salt with your favorite essential oil. Add to the bath water.

Cocoa Butter
Forget about those expensive anti-aging creams. Cocoa butter is a natural antioxidant. Antioxidants prevent free radical damage which causes aging. Buy the pure and natural product at local health stores. Makes a wonderful natural skin moisturizer.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil adds a natural glow to dry skin. Coconut oil contains important skin nutrients that smooth out the skin and decrease wrinkles. Here is how to use the oil: Smooth the oil on skin after a bath or shower to seal in extra moisture.

Witch Hazel
Witch hazel is a natural remedy that is used externally to treat acne, blemishes, sunburns, oily skin, bruises, insect bites, minor bruises, and rashes. Purchase at local drug stores or health stores. Simply dab a bit of the witch hazel on a cotton ball and rub gently on the affected area.
