Lucy moves toward the back of the wardrobe. Further and further, she silently tiptoes toward the rear. She passes by fur coats hanging in the wardrobe. Strands of her hair catches on the fur. She barely avoids slipping on the moth balls littering the floor.
Suddenly, there is a chill in the air. Lucy is no longer in the musty wardrobe. The air is clear and fresh. She is in Narnia, a land where everything is frozen. She wanders until stopping beneath a lamp post. A creature walks up to her. He wears a red scarf and carries a package. This is Mr. Tumnus.
In The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,Mr. Tumnus invites Lucy to his home. Lucy is glad for a warm respite from the cold. There in Mr. Tumnus' cave, she has tea with the centaur. After a refreshing brace of tea, Mr. Tumnus plays his flute for his guest.
