Step 5. Add the Father's Day message. Now we will add the "My Dad is No. 1" text. From the main Menubar click Modify > New Text Element. We need to change the default text from "New" to "My Dad is No. 1". Type this message in the text input box. Type "My Dad" on the first line, "is" on the second line, and "No. 1" on the third line. Now click the Set Text button.

Let's change the color of the text to match the red in his necktie. On the Text Menu click on the Color button to open the Text Gradient dialog box. Click on the Solid button. Now move your mouse pointer over the canvas and it will change to an eyedropper. Click on the necktie with the eyedropper and the color of the text will change to red. Click Done to close this dialog box.

Next we will change the plain text font. Click on the Format button on the Text Menu to open the Text Attributes dialog box. Click on the Arial button to open the list of pre-installed designer fonts. Click on the Baby Kruffy font from the list and the text will change. Click Done to return to the Text Menu.

Now we will add an outline to the text. Click on the Outline button on the Text Menu and then click on the Outline button on the Text Outline dialog box. The default color for the outline is black. Let's keep that color and just click Done.

Finally click and drag the text to the upper right corner of the rectangle.

Step 6. Save your image. From the main Menubar click File > Save As to open the Save Your Logo dialog box. Give your image a name and click Save. You have now saved a copy of your image in the program's default image format (.tlc). This will allow you to open the image into the program again and make changes to it.

You can export your image in a jpeg format that you can then email. Click Export > JPEG - High Res Full.

If you plan to print the image onto a blank greeting card you will want to save it in the bitmap format. Click Export > Export Resolution and set the resolution to 200. Then click Export > BMP.
