I admit that I was very hesitant about this low carb microwave meal. It stores on the shelf and claims to be only 4g per serving, plus low in fat and cholesterol too. It was delicious!
First, the basics. The box is about the size of a paperback book. You store it on your shelf, which means you can easily take it to work and keep it in a desk drawer for emergencies.
Something that I am VERY appreciative of is that there is a "real" top to the actual microwaveable package. I have a ton of microwave meals that have flimsy plastic seals that drive me completely insane. This one has a perfect seal. It peels off easily, doesn't get stuck on your fingers and does its job.
Two minutes later, ZAP, it is ready for you. The smell is delicious. The taste is even better! There are beef chunks, tomatoes, onions, celery and green beans. The size is filling, but not too much. It's perfect for a lunch or a mid-day snack. With it being only 4g net carbs, it gives you healthy food without a lot of unnecessary carbs.
Hi-Lo makes other flavors as well; I've got a number of other boxes to try out. I'm very enthused to do so! Be sure to watch for the beef stew in your store, and give it a try yourself!
