Fun Slumber Party Recipes

As a child, slumber parties meant staying up late and lots of good food! These are a few of my favorite recipes from my childhood slumber parties.

Pizza Tortilla

Ingredients:

• 1 pack of tortillas

• 1 package of fat free or reduced fat cheese (any flavor)

• 1 jar of pizza sauce

• 1 small package of turkey pepperoni

• 1-2 pounds of lean ground beef

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Brown ground beef in pan. Drain excess fat.

3. Spread ground beef, cheese, and pepperoni over tortilla.

4. Bake for ten minutes or until crispy.


English Muffin Mini Pizzas:

Ingredients:

• 1-2 packs of English muffins, white or whole wheat.

• 1 package of shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

• 1 pound of lean ground beef or turkey

• 1 jar of pizza sauce

• 1 jar of mushrooms (use three to four mushrooms per slice)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

2. Brown ground beef or turkey in a greased pan.

3. Place English Muffins is your toaster.

4. While the English Muffins are toasting, drain excess fat from ground
beef or turkey.

5. After English Muffins are toasted, place on cookie sheet.

6. Top with pizza sauce, meat, cheese and mushroom.

7. Place in oven until cheese melts.


Pigs in a Blanket Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1-2 packs of hot dogs

• 1 pack of Crescent rolls

• Cheese (any flavor)

• Mustard

• Ketchup

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Unroll dough, and place one fourth of each hot dog in each crescent or
triangle.

3. Add cheese if desired.

4. Bake for ten to fifteen minutes, or until cooked through and cheese is melted.

5. Serve with ketchup or mustard.


Peppermint Brownie Cupcakes

Ingredients:

• 1 box of brownie mix

• 1 bag of peppermint candies

Directions:
1. Combine ingredients to make brownie mixture.

2. Pour mixture into individual cupcake containers.

3. Before baking, place one peppermint candy in the middle of each cupcake holder.

4. Bake according to package directions.
