Cooking for kids has literally been a huge part of my life. I am a proud single mom to three grown children and four step-children. I“m also a (young) grandma to five beautiful granddaughters. As you can imagine, cooking is sort of my thing! Not a day goes by where I am not cooking, food-prepping, creating healthy recipes, re-inventing old recipes, or baking up some tasty treats for my grandchildren or myself. I even bake healthy treats for my gorgeous Dobermans!
Aside from being dubbed the family “master chef,“ I“m also a nurse. Additionally, I hold certifications in fitness training and health and wellness coaching. I“m also recently “Nutritious Life“ Certified. These credentials allow me to plan, create, purchase, prepare, cook, and serve the healthiest recipes and meals possible for my family. My granddaughters are picky little princesses, yet they“ve never turned away any of the meals I have made for them.
It warms my heart knowing that I am providing them with delicious and healthy foods that nourish their little bodies and satisfy their cravings for the foods that we all loved and ate when we were young children, such as juicy cheese burgers, golden french fries, cheesy pizza, chocolaty cookies, salty potato chips, creamy dips, fried chicken strips, and gooey macaroni and cheese. My recipe creations and versions come without all of the unhealthy and unwanted fats, sugar, chemicals, and preservatives that can deteriorate your health and that of your children.
