Atkins Morning Start Triple Berry Cereal has only 4g net carbs per bowl. This is under half the count of other commercial low carb breakfast cereals!
The stats on the ceral are pretty impressive. Only 90 calories, 4g carbs, 0mg cholesterol, 2g fat. No saturated fat nor trans fat. There are 14 of protein.
On the other hand, there is 50% folate, 10% iron, 4% calcium and nothing else. Compare that to say Special K where you get a ton of vitamins supplied to you.
The cereal ingredient list starts with soy grits, wheat gluten and soy protein isolate. I just don't find these kinds of ingredients to be really tasty. The little freeze dried strawberries, raspberries and blueberries are a nice touch, but it's just not enough for me.
If you're aiming for super super low carb and must have cereal, then by all means give this cereal a try. However, there are lots of other breakfast options out there that are much more nutritious and flavorful. I highly recommend you evaluate your other choices.
