First, the bag is very well designed. The easily resealable bag has 6 servings in it. I really like resealable bags. It helps you keep your chip / snack consumption in control, and only eat as much as is appropriate for a given situation.
Each serving has zero trans fats, only 3% of yoru sodium, and 16g of net carbs. This also has 1g of fibers. If you compare this with potato chips, you'll find it's far less carbs and far less sodium.
For those who think of bagels as thick, hard breads, think again. These bagel crisps are sliced very thin. The result is a very nice base for all sorts of snacks. You can use them for hummis, for onion dip, for salsa, for melted cheese, even for little pepperonis or deli meats.
I have to admit that normally I'm not a great fan of bagels. I think of them as a bit dry. I was very pleasantly surprised by the bagel chips. They were very evenly cooked, very nice tasting and very solid. Compared with chips or other dip-holding items that tend to be light weight, these were very capable of holding up a lot of material and still taste light.
It's important to keep in mind that these are still not "nutritious" items. There is no vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron or other listed nutrients in here. If you're going to be snacking, it's better to much on cucumbers, celery, carrots, or other items that will be providing your body with supplies it needs. It's really never a good idea to be eating in things that do your body little good.
Still, that being said, if you are eating a healthy dip, or having meats on the chips, and the main point of these crisps is to carry good things into you in a healthy way, then I am definitely for it. Compared with potato chips, or junk food, this is definitely a much better option to go with.
