A few of my favorite things . . .


Jasmine grandiflorum & Mysore sandalwood from Eden Botanicals ~ can you say, “Ahhhhh”? I’m a sambac girl, but Will’s jasmine grand is lush and deep and heady. The Mysore ~ well, intoxicating is the best description for this divine oil. Blended together they make a most sensuous perfume.

Cocoa absolute, vanilla & red mandarin ~ lick it up! Guys come into our shop all the time to play with the girleh parfum ~ one of their favorites is our Mandarin Truffle blend ~ why? Well, because the GIRLS like it, why else? Hey, man, drop a bit of this yummy blend on your neck and chest and watch the ladies swarm. If not that, then at least one of them is going to say, “You smell delicious,” *wink, wink*

Voluptuous by Crushed Velvet & Roses ~ Bella Umbra, master parfum blender extraordinaire has stirred up a lovely aromatic concoction that can be called nothing but ‘Voluptuous’. Made with vintage oils that include patchouli, rose & cloves, this is a sweet, delightful solid parfum reminiscent of 1930’s style perfumery blends. Divine!

Starlet by Opus Oils ~ oh, mama! Kedra Hart of Opus Oils is a master when it comes to this blending gig. When I first sniffed this gorgeous parfum, I was immediately taken back to my childhood as memories of my grandmother’s perfume box crowded in on me. This stuff is heavy, it’s thick, it’s floral and spicy and rich and clean ~ oh, mama! Just a drop will do and you’re good for the whole day . . . the whole night, even.

Sandalwood/Amber/Vanilla Body Butter ~ alas, Maia’s Bodyworks has closed its doors, but this exquisite blend will never leave my mind. I still have a jar of it with mere scrapings at the bottom but it doesn’t stop me from opening it and taking in a big whiff. Wow!
