One question received from several readers is "How Do I Make My Elbows More Attractive" without spending a lot of money on expensive products? Here are a few tips to insure that your elbows stay soft, moisturized, and attractive without spending a lot of money on expensive products.
Cleansing - Always clean the elbows in the same manner, you clean other areas on your body. Many focus on cleaning the arms, legs, torso, and don't pay attention to the el bows. Follow these instructions: Use a heavily grained cleanser or pumice stone on the elbows on a regular basis. Rub the elbow area gently to remove any excess buildup of dirt, grime and oils.
Moisturize - Use a thick moisturizer on the elbows daily. Rub on a thick moisturizer after cleansing the area with a grainy scrub or pumice stone. Another good idea that many women and men find works great is to use a natural moisturizer like Olive Oil or Vitamin E Oil. Rub the oil on the elbow area thoroughly after cleansing.
Lemons - Many find that rubbing the rind of a fresh lemon on the elbows to remove dark spots or blotchy spots works wonders. Here is how to use the lemon. Place the lemon rind against the elbow area for a few minutes, then rinse the elbow in cool water. The acid in the lemon is thought to break down the dark patches and fades them out while smoothing the skin on the elbow area.
Exfoliate - Exfoliate the elbows at least once or twice a month to keep them looking smooth and less blotchy. Make an easy exfoliation paste using coarse salt mixed with a few drops of warm water. Rub the salt mixture well into affected areas, rinse, and moisturize. Note: use with caution, this mix is not for very sensitive skin. Some might like to substitute corn meal or oatmeal for the salt, these food products are less irritating to the skin.
