Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 cup slightly warmed milk
  • 1 egg - beaten
  • 4 T. melted butter
  • 4 T. water
  • 1/2 box instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz. size)
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp. bread machine yeast

    Filling

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. raisins

    Frosting

  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups conf. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

    Preparation -
Place all ingredients in bread machine in order listed. Set on dough cycle. When that's finished, remove the dough, punch down, then roll dough on a floured board to about a 12" x 20" rectangle. Combine butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Heat mixture in microwave for about 10 seconds, enough to make it spreadable. Spread mixture over the entire dough rectangle, & sprinkle raisins evenly over top. Starting at wide end, roll dough into a log, jelly roll style. Cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased baking pan. (A 9" x 13" is okay but a lasagna size pan is better). Place in a warm place and let rise until doubled in size, about 30 to 45 minutes. Bake at 350º for 15 to 20 minutes.
In a small bowl combine cream cheese, butter, vanilla and milk and mix well. Add conf. sugar and beat until smooth. Spread on warm rolls and serve.
