Sexy Toned Legs At Any Size

Many groan when they think about exercise while others have a love and hate relationship with exercising. Experts agree that exercise is good for the body mind, soul. Exercise improves your mood, makes you feel good, and keeps you healthy and strong. Research shows that regular exercise reduces blood pressure and stress. Exercise doesn't have to be a bore. Exercise can be fun and healthful. Especially when working on improving leg and muscle tone. And remember you don't have to be a Skinny Minny or Slim Jim to have sexy toned legs. So, how do you focus your exercise program on getting sexy toned legs? Read the following.

Exercise for Sexy Toned Legs

The exercises in this routine make legs stronger, rev up the heart rate, and strengthen leg muscles. Practice the routine every day or every other day. Challenge yourself by working through the exercises without taking a break. Aim for about 12 to 15 repetitions per exercise.

Jump - Stand tall feet shoulder width apart. Next you are going to bend slightly. Make sure the knees are not past your toes. Raise arms in front of your body. Now use the muscles in your glutes and thighs to push up and off the floor. Jump high. Land in a slight squat and lower your arms. Repeat the exercise 12 or more times.

Squats - Stand tall feet hip length apart. Bend slightly and let your hips lower toward the floor. Always make sure your knees are not beyond the toes. Arms can be held in front or placed at the side. Now use the muscles in glutes and thighs to raise up slowly to a standing position. Repeat 12 times.

Calve Rises - Stand tall feet shoulder length apart. Hands at the sides. Rise up on the balls of your feet and hold for a second. Then lower back down to your heels touch the floor. Repeat 12 times.

Jump Rope - Most of us jumped rope when we were kids and like to play pretend. This exercise combines the two ideas into one. Pretend you are clutching a jump rope in your hands. One end in each hand. Start jumping rope like a boxer in training. Rotate your hands at the side like you are flipping a rope high over your head. Move the feet in an up and down motion for one minute. Kick it in high gear and jump for another minute. Slow the pace and jump for another minute. Relax and take a few deep breaths. Repeat exercise again.

Always breathe normally. Add small wrist weights to intensify the workout. Keep practicing and working out. The reward is healthier, sexy, toned, legs.
