Jergens is one of my favorite brands of body care products. They make an excellent line of skin moisturizers, soaps, and body wash products which were also reviewed on the Body Care site. The list of fine Jergens products just keeps expanding. A few years ago, for some unknown reason, they dropped the Jergens Original (cherry-almond) scent in the products. I'm glad to find that the original scent in all its glory is back and part of the product line. Summer time is the best time to really start experiencing the unique and rich blend of moisturizers in the Jergens products. So, I purchased the 10-oz Jergens Original Scent Dry Skin Moisturizer to share my experience and write a review.
Jergens Original Scent is packaged in a very modern designed white plastic container with splashes of aqua blue and pink with silver stripes on the front. I popped open the aqua blue top and inhaled the very distinctive cherry-almond aroma which is very delightful and brings back memories of spring and summer. "The product contains a unique blend of moisturizers that are guaranteed to make the skin feel smooth and silky soft while helping to eliminate dry skin. Giving the skin, a renewed and glowing look within 24 hours. I slathered on a generous portion of the Jergens Original Scent Dry Skin Moisturizer on hands, arms, legs, feet, and body after taking a bath. The lotion glided across the skin and seemed to seal in the moisture. It really did make my hands feel very smooth and soft after the very first use. What a great feeling. Totally amazing. They've won me over again. I recommend using the lotion after taking a bath or shower, just before going to bed, or anytime your skin feels dry. I am definitely adding this product to my collection of favorite skin moisturizers.
