Creamy Herb Dressing Recipe

Dressings can be used in many creative ways to add flavor to many foods and dishes. Besides using the following homemade dressing to dip fresh vegetables in or pouring over salad, you could also spread over grilled chicken or fish or stir in pasta dishes to enhance flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Italian parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • 1 scallion
  • 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Directions
    1. Put parsley, dill, scallion, and garlic in food processor and chop until finely chopped. Add buttermilk, yogurt, olive oil and salt and pepper and process to combine.

    Can be used immediately or refrigerate until you're ready to use.
