Although we live in a cozy Manhattan apartment with a miniature kitchen, I cook 4-5 times a week and since I am a big fan of change, we have experimented with many different foods. My husband Jeff didn“t eat any vegetables before meeting me so it has been a challenge but now he is a proud eater of just about everything. I truly enjoy creating menus and recipes that have great health benefits but also are delicious and satisfying.
Lately I have been very concerned with the issue of obesity in this country. So many people eat improperly and fear cooking with fruits and vegetables. I believe if they are shown how to make them appetizing and at the same time learn their benefits, a real change is possible.
I am excited to have this opportunity to share recipes and ideas with others who are just as interested as I am in living a flavor-filled lifestyle. Cheers to good health!
