Home Made Facial Scrubs

Home made facial scrubs are an excellent way to remove impurities and tone and tighten skin. Most of the ingredients for a home facial scrub treatment are easily found around the house. Or by taking a quick trip to the local supermarket to purchase the required facial scrub ingredients. And remember that in most circumstances a home facial scrub is just as beneficial as any professional facial scrub.

Those who don't like the ingredients included in the home facial scrub recipe included in this article should try and adjust the ingredients to fit their skin. For example, the recipe requires sea salt, you might prefer regular salt.

Home Facial Scrub Instructions

-First gather together the ingredients that are required for the facial scrub. Make sure they are all there at hand. You certainly don't want to be running all over looking for required ingredients.

-Wrap a towel around hair to protect the hair from the home facial ingredients.

-Read the facial scrub instructions at least twice before actually performing the facial. And make sure to understand the instructions.

- Once the scrub is applied take a break. Find a place to relax for a few minutes. Close your eyes and cover them with cooled sliced cucumbers, or cotton balls dipped in water. Set a timer. And place it nearby. Most facial scrubs should stay on the face for several minutes. Less, if skin is sensitive. When the timer rings, rinse the scrub off, and apply facial moisturizers like Cetaphil moisture cream for sensitive skin, or Eucerin Q10 for dry skin. And enjoy the feeling of fresh, invigorated, renewed skin.

Facial Scrub Recipe For Dry Skin

This is the perfect facial scrub for those who want to remove skin pollutants and renew the skin. Note: this recipe is not for overly sensitive skin.

First cleanse the skin as usual then follow with the scrub. Take one tablespoon Epsom salt, and mix with one tablespoon table salt or sea salt in a hot cup of water. Take fingertips and dip into the mix. Rub the mix into the face with fingertips. Rub all over facial area and avoid the sensitive eye area. Let stay on the face for several minutes. Rinse with cool water to close skin pores afterwards and apply a moisturizer.
