English Muffin Breakfast Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 English muffin per person, split into two pieces
- 2to 4 slices of turkey bacon per person
- 2 eggs or 1 egg and 2 egg whites per person
- Toast English muffin slices in the toaster or oven at 325 degrees.
- Cook turkey bacon in the microwave, on the stove, or in the oven according to package directions.
- Scramble the eggs and/or egg whites over medium heat.
- Place the toasted English muffin on a plate, and top with the eggs and bacon.
English Muffin BLT Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 English muffin per person
- 3 slices of bacon per person
- 2 plum tomatoes, sliced
- 4 slices of fresh lettuce, any variety
Directions
- Cook bacon according t package directions.
- Wash and rinse lettuce and tomatoes.
- Toast the English muffin in your toaster or oven.
- Pile the cooked bacon, lettuce and tomato on one half of the English muffin.
- Add mayonnaise or mustard as desired.
- Top with the other half of the English muffin.
- Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 English muffin per person
- 1/4 cup of shredded cheese (any variety will do, but the mozzarella blends work especially well with the fresh basil in this recipe).
- 1 Tablespoon of diced garlic
- 2 Plum tomatoes, sliced
- 2 large leaves of fresh basil, sliced
Directions
- Pre-heat the oven t 350 degrees.
- Slice the tomatoes thinly, and place on top both halves of the English muffin.
- Top with cheese, diced garlic, and basil.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
