Three English Muffin Recipes
English muffins are ideal when it comes to cooking for kids, due in part that they are so versatile. In addition, most English muffin recipes are very budget and freezer friendly. From breakfast to dinner, there are endless ways to create delicious English muffin recipes with your kids.

English Muffin Breakfast Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 English muffin per person, split into two pieces

  • 2to 4 slices of turkey bacon per person

  • 2 eggs or 1 egg and 2 egg whites per person
Directions
  1. Toast English muffin slices in the toaster or oven at 325 degrees.

  2. Cook turkey bacon in the microwave, on the stove, or in the oven according to package directions.

  3. Scramble the eggs and/or egg whites over medium heat.

  4. Place the toasted English muffin on a plate, and top with the eggs and bacon.

English Muffin BLT Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 English muffin per person

  • 3 slices of bacon per person

  • 2 plum tomatoes, sliced

  • 4 slices of fresh lettuce, any variety

Directions
  1. Cook bacon according t package directions.

  2. Wash and rinse lettuce and tomatoes.

  3. Toast the English muffin in your toaster or oven.

  4. Pile the cooked bacon, lettuce and tomato on one half of the English muffin.

  5. Add mayonnaise or mustard as desired.

  6. Top with the other half of the English muffin.

  7. Enjoy!
Cheesy Mini Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 English muffin per person

  • 1/4 cup of shredded cheese (any variety will do, but the mozzarella blends work especially well with the fresh basil in this recipe).

  • 1 Tablespoon of diced garlic

  • 2 Plum tomatoes, sliced

  • 2 large leaves of fresh basil, sliced

Directions
  1. Pre-heat the oven t 350 degrees.

  2. Slice the tomatoes thinly, and place on top both halves of the English muffin.

  3. Top with cheese, diced garlic, and basil.

  4. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
