SparX Sugar-Free Candy

SparX Sugar-Free Candy is a line of candy in fruit, berry or citrus flavors. They are flavored with xylitol - a natural sugar alcohol substitute.

Xytitol has been used for over 25 years in various food items, and is derived from birch barch. It is not a ZERO calorie food - but for example each of these candies has .23g of sugar in them as compared to normal candy. If you're going to be a candy eater, this is a far better deal. It doesn't rot your teeth, either!

We gave all 3 varieties a try - the citrus, fruit and berry. These are little round candies, about the size of BBs. A given container holds 30g, so quite a lot of them. I'll make a wild guess and say you get 100 or so in a tube. I keep a tube in my purse, and if I'm feeling like having a snack and am on the road, I'll have one or two. They give me something to nibble on until I get to "real food".

I definitely am NOT a proponent of candy. I think we eat way too much junk food. However, if you're *going* to eat candy, at least you shouldn't eat sugar-filled junk that rots your teeth!

Well recommended for candy eaters, as a way to wean them off the hard stuff.
