Preparation - Crush 1 cup strawberries in a food processor or blender. Pour the crushed berries in a saucepan. Add the lemon juice, sugar, & cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stiring contantly, until the mixture is thickened and clear. Remove from heat & chill. Cut larger berries in half, leave small berries whole. Stir the berries into the cooled mixture. Spoon into the pre-baked pie shell. Chill for 1 to 2 hours before serving. Top individual servings with whipped cream or whipped topping.
