How To Style Your HairIt doesn't have to be hard to come up with new and unique looks for yourself. There is so much technology that you can look anything up and re-create it. To truly be unique it just takes some thought and implementation. The way you manipulate the hair will give you the results you desire. To do this you must know where you should start and finish the style. First, determine your face shape. Oval round square triangle heart or inverted triangle diamond oblong Use your face shape to determine where you want to create the volume in your hair to balance your face shape. Once you determine the shape the next thing to consider is what texture do you want to create within the shape. Texture refers to hair that is curly, wavy or straight. Then, determine your fringe (bangs). Again, the fringe needs to compliment your face shape. Swept to one side of the face braided twisted back styled straight across or framing the face Next decide on the part. deep part a diagonal part a middle part an off-centered part or a zigzag part. Why are you styling your hair? Are you wearing it for an everday look, are you going to prom, to the workplace or on a date? Then pick if it needs to be: sophisticated practical formal or high glam Where do you want the style to start? This is where you pick your focal point. If you are braiding or twisting the hair think about where do you want the braid or twist to start? On the side of the head by the ear at the temple or high above the head Where do you want it to end? nape of the neck middle of the head or high on top How do you want it to end? bun ponytail chignon french twist In a number of braids fishtail braid waterfall braid rope braid invisible braid visible braid in box braids or a fishtail braid braided bun rose bun loose braid push braid and curls With any style, you can mix and match techniques to get your own unique style. Just pick and choose from each of the categories. Mix and match each of these to create your own look.
