Sign Up For the Writing Newsletter

This nonfiction writing site from BellaOnline has new content most every week. If you sign up for my newsletter, you'll never miss knowing when new information is posted. You'll also be able to know what’s happening on the writers' forum and what's happening around BellaOnline that's important to you as a writer.

Each nonfiction article has a place for you to sign up to receive the nonfiction newsletter---don't worry, your address is private and will never be sold or given to anyone else. You only need to sign up once no matter how many times you see that sign-up box.

To sign up, look to the right of this article. You’ll see a small box with the words Free Newsletter just above the box. There's also a blue dot with a small arrow in it just to the right of that box. Type your email address in that box, and then click that blue dot with the arrow. That's all.

You won't be asked to fill out more information or questionnaires. In fact, I don't even know who signed up unless your newsletter bounces (doesn't get to your email box--sort of like a "return to sender" that the post office puts on a letter when they can't find your snail mail address). If the newsletter bounces, then your ISP (Internet Service Provider) sends me a bounce notice with your email address.

Once you sign up, you’ll receive a confirmation email notice. This is so that you can tell if this newsletter is getting through your spam filters. It does help if you put BellaOnline in your email address book so that your email provider will automatically accept email from BellaOnline.

You won’t receive anything you didn’t sign up for—-no newsletters from other editors, no ads, nothing else. My newsletter is the only thing you will receive. If you look around at other sites on the BellaOnline group and decide to sign up for their newsletters, you'll have to sign up with them in the same way you did with me.

If for some reason you don't like the newsletter or there's any reason at all that you do not want the newsletter after you signed up, you can unsubscribe at any time.

This writing site at BellaOnline focuses on writing nonfiction for publication. Of course, you don't have to have your writing published, but everything taught on this site applies to people who want to have their work published.

The articles are about nonfiction writing and techniques to get published. The articles can be on how to get published, finding time to write, how to know where to get your writing published, improving your grammar and punctuation, marketing your writing, how to organize all your writing materials, keeping the motivation to write, and the list goes on.

There is also a forum where you can ask writing related questions, share ideas with other writers, and get encouragement in your writing. Writing not only can be intimidating, but very lonely. On the forum you can discuss issues important to writers and authors, such as: advances, writing for free or pay, self-publishing. Everyone's opinion counts.

Who am I? I've been writing, teaching, and speaking professionally for over 30 years. I love each of those areas and am eager to help you become better in your writing, whether that's in a full time writing career, whether you write a few hours a week, or if you are just in the "wish I could write" stage.

Sign up for the newsletter today. Whether you want to know more about writing for publication or how to improve your personal writing, you'll be glad you did.

The best to you,
Glenda Schoonmaker, nonfiction editor
