By now you know that time travels are my favorite romances. You get the opportunity to live in another time or place, if for just a little while. Explore a life different from your own. So exciting! Of course, you usually get to do your exploring with heroes who aren´t quite as...hm, shall we say, in charge as they really would have been. We may fantasize about living in another time but we´d like to do it our way, right? This week, I´ve got two time travels (both from Jove and available now) to share with you. Spend some time this week in another time.

"A Time to Dream" by Sherry Lewis has Shelby Miller trying to save two old houses she´s come to love, and, in her quest to solve the mystery behind the two houses, she falls back in time, into the body of Agatha Logan, a miserable woman, whose husband lives in a house identical to hers, with their two sons. The mystery, of course, is why they live apart, and Shelby is anxious to solve it. Zacharias Logan isn´t as anxious to help her. He´s a bit confused, to say the least, when his shut-in wife suddenly wants to take part in life again. Toss in a greedy mistress, a spiteful mother, and two adorable five year-old boys, and you´ve got the recipe for a wonderful story. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Of Cupid´s five arrows, this one gets three and a half.

"A Love Beyond Time" by Judie Aitken is our next offering. Ryan Burke is newly arrived in Montana on an archaeological dig and finds herself in the midst of artifact thefts. Dillon Wolf is the attorney fighting the project. His granfather, Charley Crying Wolf has a plan to catch the thief, though he doesn´t share it with anyone else. Ryan is disturbed by dreams of a wolf even before her arrival in Montana, and when a night in an old tipi sends her back in time to 1876, just before the Battle of the Little Big Horn, she finds the man of her dreams. Literally. Calls to the Wolf is a bit perplexed to find the white woman in his tipi when he returns after a battle. Ryan, though, knows now what she has to do to help Charley find the thief in the present. She doesn´t plan on falling in love in the bargain. I won´t spoil it for you by telling anymore. Suffice it to say that this book is wonderful. I did have a small nitpick with the heroes (yes, both of them) being as bigoted as they were and then giving it up so easily for Ryan, but otherwise, these men are to die for. Cupid´s lent me four arrows for this story.
