Make Your Own Vanilla Bean Body Fragrance
Guest Author - Cheryl Lewis

Vanilla is one of the most popular scents for practically everything. It's a great scent to wear because it's so appealing. It's also easy to make your own vanilla fragrance to go with your vanilla scented bath products.

1 cup distilled water
2 TBSP vodka
2 whole vanilla beans
5 drops of sandalwood essential oil

In glass jar that has been sterilized and allowed to air dry, combine the water, vodka and vanilla beans. Seal the jar with an airtight lid and very gently swish the contents lightly. Let sit for one week.

After one week, remove the vanilla beans and add the sandalwood oil. Keep in an airtight glass container and out of the direct sun. Be sure to use within about 8 months.
