Hello, and welcome back! The weather here is absolutely gorgeous this week--perfect for enjoying that big, bright Harvest Moon the other night; we had the boys out past their bedtime last night so they'd have a chance to see it, too. Almost bright enough to read by, and it would have been the perfect backdrop for a romantic scene in one of our favorite books, as a matter of fact.

Anyway, that's not really what I wanted to tell you about this week. I actually wanted to point you toward the forum this time around, because I've posted a poll on used-book buying, wondering how much of your romance shopping used books make up. It's set to close on October 11 around lunchtime, so you have time.

I got to wondering about this while chatting with another reader recently about the skyrocketing cost of new books these days, and it made me curious about how many other readers are turning to used books, for that or for other reasons, and for how much of their book-buying. So, after you vote in the poll, feel free to comment on the situation as it applies to you, if you like. I'll be compiling the results after the poll closes and posting them here in a new article sometime late next month to share with all of you.
