Petite women - small women - can often be overpowered by too much hair. Hairstyles that are very full or very long can appear out of balance with a small woman's body size. This is true for either very short women or very thin women.

Our model is barely over four feet tall with small features. She wears her thick hair short. Her style is very short and tapered at the neckling in the back and cut short around her ears. The hair in front of her ears is cut to form fringe for a softer frame for her face. There is enough hair on the top to fluff for fullness without making it too high. The entire style is texturized to take out bulk so that it doesn't appear heavy.

This style is very easy and fast to 'do'. Our model styles her own hair by using a curling iron that is one inch in diameter. A few easily placed curls add direction, fullness and a little height to the top.
