Comfortable Fashion for Your Hair

Comfortable Fashion for Your Hair
Fashion this year is all about being comfortable with yourself. It is getting a great haircut that helps your hair flow naturally so you aren’t forcing it into a hair style. Any errant waves or flips are part of your own individuality and not a cause for worry. Try out these few suggestions for simple updates to stay on top of the fashion scene

Do you wear long hair?
For hair that is below the shoulder in length add long layers starting at about the chin and proceeding downward. This allows the ends the freedom of movement, adding life and bounce while being naturally stylish. In styling, use a small amount of spray wax so that the ends separate into a slightly piecey, wind-blown look. Any fullness in this style should be in the crown area or it can be worn perfectly flat and natural.

Medium length?
For hair that is above the shoulder in length, cut it straight around the bottom. Next add layering, again in the lower portion of the style. Bangs should be long and pushed to one side. Again, in styling, use spray wax to create a piecey appearance and to provide control without being sticky.
Fullness should be in the crown while the lower area of the style is kept close to the neck.

Short hair?
Hair cut to chin length or shorter is given a lot of texture by trimming out small pieces of hair throughout. The differing lengths of hair produce fullness and a naturally disheveled look. This style almost always requires the use of styling products to give it an up-to-date feeling. Use enough spray wax or pomade to separate the layers and give some control without making it excessively stiff. Hair spray is used sparingly or not at all so that the hair is allowed to move.

Color:
To finish your image revamping, add a touch of new color to brighten or enrich your hair shade. The wide, obvious streaks of blonde of the past year are on their way out of the style scene. Softer, naturally beautiful hair that accentuates rather that detracting from your face will be the trend this year.

If your hair is already lightened to a light blonde, strands of color, two or three shades darker, will add depth and dimension, while bringing out the warmth of your skin and eye color.

Try adding tiny strands of blonde ranging from extra-light to medium gold to your brown to medium or light blonde hair. Concentrate these strands on the upper portion of your hair, letting the depth of the darker color show through.

Those of you with shades darker than medium brown will want stay with strands of red or golden brown to brighten your already rich hair color.

The over all effect of these simple changes in cut and color are soft, feminine, and quietly romantic, being uncontrived and bringing out your own personality.
